Data we collect

Depending on how you use Djitsahé, we may collect:

  • your first name, surname, email address and phone number;
  • your profile photo and account information;
  • if you sign in with Google, your account’s technical Google identifier, verified email address, name and Google profile photo;
  • your island, region, municipality, city or village;
  • your GPS location when you allow access to it;
  • your service requests, photos, messages, reviews and reports;
  • for service providers, documents required to verify the profile, including proof of identity, a selfie and, depending on the service, qualifications;
  • technical data required to operate and secure the application.

How we use your data

We use this data to create and secure accounts, connect clients with service providers, tailor services to a location, send relevant notifications, verify profiles, handle support requests and prevent abuse. Djitsahé does not store your Google password or any token that provides access to your other Google data.

Technical service providers

We use technical service providers for hosting, databases, image storage, maps, notifications and error monitoring. They access only the data required to provide their services and must protect it.

Data retention and security

We retain data for as long as necessary to operate accounts, protect the service and handle disputes. We use reasonable measures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies required for operation, security and essential preferences are always active. Analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, and marketing cookies, such as Google Tag Manager, are activated only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time on the Cookie settings page.

Your rights and account deletion

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data and account from the application by following the account deletion procedure or by writing to contact@djitsahé.com. Some information may be retained temporarily when required for safety, a dispute or a legal obligation.
